They should stay until they are big enough not to be eaten. If cared for properly, that is about a month. But you really need to get a bigger tank to house 11 guppies. A 10 gallon can not support more than 6, because guppies are a very active fish. Most people say the minimum tank size for guppies is 20 gallons due to their active behavior. Personally I think that is a little consertave. 6 in a 10 is a little crowded, but as long as there are lots of hiding places and you change water every week(you should anyway) they 6 will be fine in a 10 gallon.

Hi,
You can put them in with the adults when they get big enough that they will be a huge mouthfull for the adults, this will depend on how fast they grow. I would suggest setting up another tank for them as they will soon outgrow the Fry Box and still be too small to go with the adults, besides, a Guppy only breeds once every 10 to 12 litters, so they will continue to have babies coming every few weeks.

OOPs! I don't think you want to hear this!

Guppies are a very prolific Live Bearing Fish, as are almost all of your Live Bearers.

Good Luck!!!

When you think they are big enough so they won't be eaten. You may need a seperate tank because guppies reproduce FAST! At one time, I owned more than 40 guppies. Remember, only 1 guppy per gallon. So you have a 10 gallon tank, that can old 10 fish. You may need another.

I actually have a 10 gallon tank, yet I used to have a three whilst my guppies first had toddlers. before everything, having one male and one lady isn't healthful for the fish. attempt to get approximately 2 or 3 women for one male. 2d of all, do you have any flowers or furnishings on your tank? My toddlers consistently cover in the flowers, and there have been 3 each and every time. What do you mean by employing "nursery does not fish?" For myself, I frequently take out the super fish for a couple of minutes and positioned them right into a cup or vase. (make certain you cover those- the 1st time I had toddlers, a fish jumped out and that i stumbled on it the subsequent morning. Gross.) I then positioned the toddlers right into a nursery with a splash bit plant- toddler guppies choose for to cover. I feed them very, very small quantities of fish nutrition. i'm undecided if that's what you're meant to feed them, yet I do, and my fish do properly. After a month or 2 enable the fishes back into the main important tank.

When they are big enough not to fit into any of the others mouths. If the other fish are guppies then 1 week is still to young.

I've heard of a fish fry but a guppy fry? Okay I hope you have more than 6 or your guests will be left pretty hungry.
