At college I ended up meeting a guy on my floor that I became really good friends with. When we were going to college together he would frequently talk bad about his friends back home. He called his friends "boring" and he once received a call from one (he didn’t answer it) and told me it was from someone who thought that they were a close friend of his, but wasn’t. One time he also mentioned how MY name had come up when he was around his friends back home, although he didn’t specify what the conversation was about. One of the times we talked over break he told me that he hung out with these ("boring") friends at home often and had a blast. If we were hanging out and ran across someone else, I would become invisible. (Once I got frustrated and walked off, he didn’t realize it until he was done talking with other person) I feel like he knows that he always has someone to fall back on when other plans fall through, and talks behind my back, like he does to me about his other friends.

By how you described him he definaltey doesn't sound genuine for the least bit =[
He seems that he isn't loyal to anyone, and would (will) talk about anyone behind their back if its conveinent at the time, or might make him look better to the person he's with by dissing other people. I have a friend similar to this, when were together things are fine if its just me and her, or somebody who she could care less about, and she will say anything about anyone to keep people talking to her...but no matter what we could be talking about if she sees someone she knows or wamts to talk to she'll literally cut me off midsentnace and walk off and im left standing there like a dope....it sucks because i dont treat her this way but that's how she is...and its not fair...and i think that if someone will talk about other people to you behind their back...why wouldn't they talk about you behind your back...? Thats my look on it...just the same if you see somenoe lie to other people, whats there to prove that there not going to lie to you..?

It sucks to think that..but it is the truth of the matter...he may be fun to hang around with...but in the end he most likely wouldn't be someone to trust or someone who you can count on...i'd be careful with him so you dont set your self up to get hurt :(

He is 2 faced. Don't trust him keep at arms distance. and the next time he tries to kick it. Say your busy. It's not worth the hassle of wondering if hes truly a Friend. There are good people out there that would have your back.

Your "friend" is just using you. If he talks behind the backs of all those ppl back home, then what does he say about you when you aren't around???

I don't understand your question, but the answer is that you are young and insecure. if you let him see you all weak and needy, he will have the "upper hand". Act like you don't give a fuc*. Or better yet, truly don't give a fuc*. I mean, there will be lots of delicious males in your life, Honey.

He is obviously fake and extremely manipulating. I will say cut him loose. You deserve, better friends, and from what I have read he sounds like not a good friend.

you cant trust him. even so, everyone gossips about everyone but, if they are, a true friend would stick up for you. so i wouldnt consider him a very good friend at all.
