yes i do. and lucky enough, i am not yet caught up to this time... like right now. this is my stress buster for:

1. a boss who is not too keen to poke his head on his employees cubicles to see if they really are doing their work or just fooling around.
2. i fint Y!A more interesting that the senseless drabble of the people around here in the room.
3. you really get sensible answers from people around the world, while sitting in your chair plus you are not even spending anything while asking your questions (the company pays the electricity bills and internet connection.)
4. another form of communication where you could ask anything to anyone, but there are safety guidelines to avoid uhh... problems.

I'm not at work, but if I were, and I caught an employee of mine doing this while he/she was on my clock, they wouldn't have a job any more. People have a habit of thinking they can do what they want while they are getting paid for something else. Fired someone just last week for being on Messenger at work. That's the breaks. You work for me, you do your job. You wanna do IM or QA, you go home and do it there. Gee, I sound mean. I'm really not!

Thankfully I don't have to. I work at home on my computer and when I want to check in with Y&A I just do it.

i work at a hardware store so i cant get hold of any computer, but if i did work in the office i probably would yea.

sure hope the people who do aren't health care providers, of the sick, elderly, newborns etc.....just at jobs that require no real thinking.....I'd hate to find out people at NORAD were on Q&A instead what they are suppose to be doing......
