I'm seriously having trouble deciding what to believe, such as in abortion, homosexuality, politics, the war, degrees of environmentalism, and all the issues that many tend to not agree on. I'm confused

Be which ever you feel the best with. I am a Liberal Christian. but there are some things i don't agree with as far as liberals standings.
But like someone says do some research and see which is best for you. don't be pushed into something. take your time and Good Luck I hope you find the right one. i know how hard it is to be so confused.

One has little choice when neither of the available options are perfect enough to satisfy our conscience... You seem to suffer from a natural confusion that many of your peers should be having.... though still many (I mean a significant number) would not care for a total agreement with all that each of the two stands for... People of practical wisdom would go by the greatest benefit that could be had from one of the two... (one with policies less in conflict with our own views)...

Well read up on these issues (make sure you read both sides, or multiple sides if there are many) and make a decision based on a wide perspective. An educated decision is always superiour to a sheep decision.

Try Human, write to your legislators, live your ideals and vote.
Crap on man made labels that are meant to slander, demean and are often missed used if the word was looked up in the dictionary.
