Ah the spiritual question - the meaning of life - the great search for purpose - unfortunately we live in a shallow instant gratification world that most people don't won't to ponder this question because it would infer responsibility over your actions. That is why man tries to deny the spiritual aspect and make science into todays religion - but the person who understands this is chastized to even contemplate the bigger meaning.
I am a spiritual person -I belong to a recogoinzed faith that does not encourage prostilyzing and you most recoginze it's truth through learning and personal acceptance. The search in itself gives meaning to our existance.

i have no idea to be honest. thats the existentialist question we all have to grapple with. what do we care about? there are close ones for whom i care for. i care about what happened yesterday, and i care about where i will be tomorrow. i care about my studies and some sort of intellectual advancement. id like to think that i care about others as much as i care about myself, but i dont know if thats always true. perhaps i just care that i wont make the world worse off than it would be without me.
i should add, that sometimes its comforting to get lost in trivial pursuits

I care about my future. One day i hope to make my parents proud, have a nice family with nice kids and a beautiful wife. Living the good happy life that i have always dreamed of. Dont necessarily have to be rich, but i want my final years to be filled with joy and happiness and love. etc

My family, My health, My family's health, job security...so I can make money to pay for my health insurance so I can preserve my health.
Out of all those things you listed that we can't care about...I still care about lipstick and partying.

Underneath we care about ourselves, our family and our friends and being able to make enough money to take care of our basic needs. That's the root of our existence - to love and provide for our loved ones.

I care about God, my friends and family, and I suppose that's it. I mean, I care about beautiful things like art and music and photography, but it's those special people who bring me love and laughter that I treasure the most.

I care about how people will look back on the time they spent with me. like it wont matter what we were wearing, or what concerts we went to, what movie we went to see together. all that will matter is that I did the things I did with the people I did them with and that makes me and them a little bit happier in my life and theirs.
