you need to go to edit my profile
then enter CSS code (Which is a type of html) into your about me or who i'd like to meet or whatever fields.

i'd strongly suggest that you find a layout from a premade layout website and use the code to help you learn how to use CSS. that is how i learned, it is mostly all common sense. It's interesting to try new and different effects. look up Alpha filters for transparency and glows and making images grayscale.
