gallon zip lock bags filled with ice and a small hole put in the side of the bag and there you have a automatic drip system it works for me

I work for a wholesale irrigation supply company. Dont know where you are, so dont know your local suppliers, but there is a great hose timer that you can get from a company called Claber. All you have to do is unscrew your hose, attach the timer and reattach your hose. Obviously on the other end of the hose you would need to have some sort of sprinkler head (s) to actually emit water.

fill up an empty coke bottle with water, put a small hole in the lid and turn it upside down and plant it next to the plant that needs watering. it's great for vegie gardens.

go to a pet store and buy a water bottle .it will leake water out.you may have to take the silver ball out.
