i mean cutting on purpose, like the epidsode of degrassi where ellie starts cutting, or the music video for numb by linkin park. and don't say the movie secretary, cause ppl have said that one like a hundred times.
and before you freak out, i'm asking cause i'm doing a research project on how cutting is portrayed in the entertainment industry.

"The Secretary" starring James Spader and Maggie Gyllenyhal. A bit graphic to say the least and the aspect of her being a cutter lasts only a few scenes.

Well, you already said "Numb" by Linkin Park, but another video that portrays it is "Crazy" by Simple Plan.
There's also "Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park that portrays it, kind of. In that video there's a girl writing the words "I'm nothing" on the walls and it doesn't show her cut herself because they really can't because of FCC reasons and all, but they show a lot of red that looks like blood in that particular shot and there's broken glass all around, so I just kind of put 2 + 2 together...
And there's a TV show that comes on A&E called Intervention. One episode featured a girl who cut herself. It was on about a year or 2 ago, and I don't know if you could even find that now...

There was a good episode of the WB's Seventh Heaven where one of Lucy's friends was cutting herself and how the Camden's dealth with getting the girl help. This was on a few years ago, but still pops up in reruns. If you are doing research, the best I can narrow it down for you is that Lucy was either a freshman or sophmore in high school on the show. Hope this helps.

That movie with Sandra Bullock--I believe it was 28 days or 28 days later, or something like that. One has zombies, the other a girl that cuts herself.

one idea of many, enjoy.... (it's a great movie regardless)... there's a small bit in Dolores Claiborne... it has Kathy Bates and Jennifer Jason Leigh in it... if you don't want me to ruin it for you, don't read any more of this...

the daughter in the film is sexually abused by her father... (as a flashback) when her mother is trying to find out what is wrong with her (as she isn't bathing as often, has a different personality, other things), the girl (I think) breaks a christmas tree ornament and scratches her neck with it. most of the film involves the girl in the present as an adult, still coping with the past by abusing prescription drugs and alcohol. there is another character in the film (an old woman) who kills herself by throwing herself down some stairs.

Im glad its not you doing the cutting. In one episode of Seventh Heaven, Lucy's friend was a cutter. I dont know which episode though. Hope it helps

all of us makes use of Limewire. I nkow it somewhat is unlawful and morally-incorrect yet.. i regulate my songs and vids so in lots of cases that I basically can not finanacially shop up lol it is your selection...
