you mean like in the middle of a conversation or just never talk again? either way it may come off as a bit weird. but who cares, there are other modes of communication, and sometimes silence can say more than words.

I have done this before - jsut stopped talking - and people didn't htink I was wierd they took it as a form of hostilty that I was not being the same person that I always was . People don't like it when you change. And they won't get your reason for your desisting in talk.

Are you planning to take a vow of silence? If you are going to stop talking for a long amount of time, then you should probably warn some of your friends and family so they don't worry. Other than that, good luck with your endeavor.

I used to be shy. and never spoke at school, I'd talk to my friends yeah, but other people not unless they talked to me first. they thought I was weird. and I've tried doing that at home but then when my mom tried talking to me she had to threaten me to talk cause she thought I was simply ignoring her. now if I plan on not talking for some reason I make a sign before hand saying "im seeing how long I can go with out talking, so that's why I'm not talking."

Nah, Cuz you ain't nothing to say anyway. All you do is flap those God given lips of your's with out a single bit of sense. So just sit back and smile & nod. You're good at that.

If talking is something you do often, then probably. I don't talk often, and when I start talking, people think I'm weird. Funny how that works.....

like a vow of silence? some people would find that weird, but it has been done. i think their reasoning was to take more notice of the world around them, rather than themselves.

My grandfather was a man of few words. I asked him why once and he said you are accountable for every word that comes out of your mouth, so the less you say the less you are accountable for. Guess if you didn't say anything at all you'd be safe!

Nope . It's your choice to choose to talk or stop talking . No one can stop you if you wants to talk .
