I am 29 weeks pregnant for the first time and I am getting extremely nervous and i just try and take one day at a time. I work on my son's room a little at a time so I don't get overwhelmed. I also go shopping a little at a time and just do the best I can-good luck!

It's normal to be overwhelmed and all the hustle will get you closer to delivery. I made lists and had my husband and family help me out. BabyCenter.com has a lot of useful lists for expectant parents and you can weed out the stuff that is less important and just stick to the important stuff. And once the baby comes the list making experience is helpful too. I found it hard to sleep at night because I was thinking about all the stuff that needed to be done and was already uncomfortable with a big baby moving around inside me so I kept a notepad and pen on my nightstand and wrote things down as they popped into my head and I still do it now between having my son, a part time job, a husband and house to handle. Good luck and congratulations.

I did feel overwhelmed during the last few months of my pregnancy. It has been 10yrs since I had my last child but I remember feeling like I didn't have enough time to get the baby's room ready, and I cried everyday. I was really anxious about my son's health and to relax I would burn an aromatherapy candle and sit in the dark to think things over.

Gosh no kidding....we picked our last child's name on the way to the hospital. LOL Just get the basics done (putting away onsies and making the crib) and don't worry about the rest- it will fall in to place when baby comes!
