no, their little paws cant hold the thing. even if they could somehow get a smaller one, they dont have thumbs so they cant turn the parts :(

I don't think any animal without opposable thumbs could solve a Rubik's Cube puzzle, even by fluke. The only way I could see a fox doing it was by breaking the puzzle and somehow reassembling it. The chances of this occurring are so so very slight.

Foxes, like dogs, are nearly colorblind.
Also; I don't think they could even be trained to understand that the cube with each face all one color is the "solution" they want,
never mind the logical sequence they need to go through for each move, or the larger concept of "the same color" as opposed to just "brown" or "blue" or "yellow" or "gray" or "purple" as individual things.
A very smart parrot or raven might have a better chance of learning this, because they like physical puzzles and have a much longer 'attention span' for this sort of thing.
Still doubtful.
