I know for a fact that it can be true on a subconscious level some people fear "losing" weight or "loss" of weight. But my question is how do you get past this? Where can you go to get help/support?

You need to see a psychologist and medical doctor to help you with this ....Theres a lot of fear about loosing weight and you need support to get through it.......

Try reading "Fat is a Feminist Issue" to see why you might want to hold on to your weight, or what might be positive about weighing more.

Also, Weight Watchers is great, and you might try that. If there's no meeting near you, you can do it online, but the meetings tend to address these things.
