If you could date only ONE person for your entire life and only had a choice between a drop dead, gorgeous indivdual with no common sense whatsoever or a rather asthetically challenged looking person with a world of knowledge....

Who would you pick? Any reason why?

alot of people here are saying the 'geek' because they would be able to hold up an intelligent conversation. But IQ isn't the only quality to look for in a person in my opinion. If the intelligent person can be funny, kind, and laid back, then ok, but if intelligence is the only thing going for him then...what's the point? The attractive person who is dimwitted would at least make you laugh...probably unintentionally, but still...The intelligent person would stereotypically be very serious...and plus, im not stupid and i have common sense but im not super going-to-solve-global-warming smart either, so I wouldn't really be able to hold up a conversation on his level of smartness. In the end, I would just go for the guy that I actually liked and had most in common with.

The geek...

Sex is only interesting for so long... I'm going to want a conversation at some point. And i'd rather it be with someone that has something worth listening to and can actually form a comprehensible sentence. I like talking and i like listening. And i'd rather have a meeting of the souls than bodies.. when it comes right down to it.

And this is not to say i can't have sex with the geek because that's not what i'm trying to say... What i'm trying to say is that with the beauty, the only thing we could possibly do together is have sex. But with the geek, there is a world of possibilities.

Asthetically challenged with a world of knowledge. That way, we would have a lot in common...unless Drop Dead Gorgeous is a Pittsburgh Penguin fan....because as we all know Stanley Cup Fever (I know, they're still a few years away), not love conquers all.

Brains, absolutely. Smart people are more fun, more interesting, and better company in the long term. I've always found that intelligent people are never bored and never boring, because there's always something for us to be thinking about, learning, discussing, exploring, or investigating.

But then I'm lucky. I married a gorgeous babe whose dad was an Actual Rocket Scientist in the Fifties and Sixties. Now, almost 30 years later, her hair has almost as much grey (or as she likes to call them, "clear hairs") in it as mine does, and we're both built more for comfort than speed... but she's even MORE funny, interesting, intelligent, witty, and wonderful to be around than ever.

geek -- beauty with no brain is only good for one night before their stupidity annoys you the rest of the time.

The smart one. Beauty is only skin deep but stupid runs clear through.

I'd have to go with brains. I can't stand it when a guy cannot hold an intelligent conversation

Where are they? A geek please, who could pass up a world of knowledge snuggled up next to you and all yours for life. That's hot.
