It was about two best friends who are united by their passion for hip hop music. They grow up still best friends and take a turn when Taye Diggs character is getting married. It is then when his girl best friend has to get along with his new wifey, in which isn't so easy because the wifey is not very supportive of Taye Diggs passion for Hip Hop music. So the girl best friend is also getting married, but before she does Taye Diggs characters marriage isn't going well because he finds his wifey out on a date cheating, so he sleeps with the best friend. Anyways, long story short, they love eachother, they love hip hop music, they live happily ever after. THE END

it's about a hip hop magazine editor and her hip hip record producer best friend's journey in falling in love with each other. She compares thier relationship to her relationship with ever changing hip hop world and music. It got real corny and long toward the end. I was feeling like "just get together already." Not as good as some other "black" movies.
