I've been reassured that's it isn't... I appreciate everyone's response.

By "it", are you referring to menstration or sex?

Menstruation does often accompany menstual crampng which does hurt. That is why products like midol and pamprin are around. Keep some midol teen formula handy if you think you will get your period soon and are worried about pain.Take 2 capsules with water as soon as you feel pain or see blood. I use to have pain so bad I would vomit black out and loose my vision and get very dizzy. It can be bad for some girls but if you have your medications and are prepaired you don't need to worry so much.

It depends on the person, my sister has cramping and I never do. It's only a couple days out of the month and it's more comfortable than being pregnant for 9 months. And then you get quite a bit older and it stops and you become irritable and have hot flashes...all the alternatives to having a period are for more uncomfortable than having the period itself.

well its all different for girls. some have cramping, some have back pain and ofcourse pms is bound to happen. but while menstruating itz not that bad once u get used to it. and don't give up exercise while menstruating it actually helps suppress all the body aches during periods....i used to have back pain untill i started exercising then i wuz just fine...and ofcourse if it gets really bad then take a pain killer. try not to depend on it unless u can't tolerate the cramps at all....

It's very uncomfortable. If you wear a pad, then you have to sit in something that feels like a dirty diaper. (I'm not sure how it feels to use tampons) Then you have the cramps. Sometimes they are so bad, that you can't move, you can't stay still, you can't lay down and you can't sit down. At least that's how it is for me sometimes.
Then of course, you can feel something dripping from down there.
Mestruation is very Gross.

it can be uncomfortable. Some people bloat, some get cramps and others have mood swings.

If you use pads, that can be uncomfortable. I prefer tampons since you can't even feel them if they're used correctly.

Everone is different. I didn't have any cramps, bloating, or crankiness until I reached my 30's!! But yeah, it can be uncomfortable..... if so, take some Advil and rock on.

It all depends on the person's physical make up. In some it hurts like hell because of the cramps, but in other's they don't have them. Though I have always hated it.

For some it isn't, for others it is. Basically, you are getting a preview of what giving birth will feel like.

I am assuming that you mean having intercourse while on your period. I love it. I am like a dog in heat. Some men can't handle it and others love it. Go for it!

Some women are uncomfortable while mestrating, some aren't. It depends where they are at in their cycle, etc.
