Okay, here's a wacky thing to try that won't hurt and is free: drink 8 oz of water every hour. You'd be amazing what mild dehydration can do. Check out a book at the library called The Water Cure.

I had the same thing as a teenager, I took some meds but, can't remember the names of them. I was told by the doctor to avoid fats ,fried foods and salt at this time. I think I took midol.

i once had a doctor tell me to keep track of my period and take advil about 2 days before my expected start of the period and the first 2 days... this prevents inflammation and your body's pain reaction. it is harder for your body to COMBAT pain/inflammation once it starts, and much easier for it to start preventing it... ya know? seemed to help me!

You need to go to the ER if you are having that much pain.

Hope you feel better soon.
