I don't see it happening. Brady has the rings that Marino didn't get but he doesn't have the stats nor do I think he will amass them. I can think of numerous QB's that would rank above him right now and he has probably peaked as far as accomplishments go.

Favre would be my number one, the consecutive start streak and flirting with the TD record get me there and he won that ring.

Marino would win hands down if it came to numbers

Elway as much as I hate him put together a pretty good career

Montana was a product of the offense built around him and excelled

Unitas, Tarkenton, Manning are all going to flirt with being in that top 10 as well and I would place them above Brady now and I would say with 99% certainty, forever.

He did do a number on my JAGS last weekend and yes you are right he is a phenomenal Q.B. probably best in the league at this present time. I think Marino is still the best but Brady is still playing so you never know how many more rings he may get and what records he could achieve from now until his retirement. You have made a strong argument. In closing GO JAGS... BEAT THE CHIEFS.

No i'm sorry he won't just because he can get into field goal range in the Super Bowl does not make him the best QB of all time. Dan Marino had better stats and played a better career the only difference is super bowl rings. Same with Peyton Manning, great career just doesn't have the rings....YET!

No, his numbers don't show that at all. He's definitely in the Top 15 right now...don't want to go any higher than that - for now. Even the three rings won't convince me he's the greatest. Bradshaw has four and his name doesn't come up in this conversation as much as Montana, Marino or Elway. All that being said, if he stays consistent for another 5-7 years with his numbers (because they are impressive) and he wins ANOTHER ring...well, then he might enter the equation.

No. The only player (or one of few players) since the merger who played less than a decade and is in the NFL hall was Earl Campbell. Brady and Tomlinson have to play five more years for anyone to even start thinking about them, let alone vote.

Unfortunately, winning the Super Bowl is by what most quarterbacks will be judged.
For all round statistics, league championships, intangibles, and leadership, I would want THE MAN Johnny Unitas in my huddle.
2nd, even though he was a (I threw up in my mouth and had to swallow it) a green booger Packer, Bart Starr, not to be confused with bert faver.
3rd, Otto Graham Philadelphia Eagles, late 40's- early 50's.
Let the debate roll on.

No. Quarterbacks often get way too much credit. It's a team sport, and the Patriots were damn good during their dynasty (which by the way is over). Brady doesn't even make my top five for CURRENT NFL quarterbacks, let alone all-time. Put him on a team that struggles, hell put him on the Colts even, and I predict he would not be successful.

There's a better chance of it snowing in Houston in august than Brady being considered the best ever. Did you forget about Montana, Elway, Favre, Namath, or any of the others that were better?
