my result of atypical type means i have a virus inside which is a result of sexual activity.i married & have had sex only with my husnband & my husband too have the same thing but my doctor said this is the only reason of virus.what can i do now?can anyone share experiences like this.

It can be HPV...it is very common, but you must becareful as well...because it can cause cervical cancer.

hi - sounds typical of HPV human papilloma virus - in my research - 1 in 3 ppl have it - and yes, you can get it if you only have one partner. sucks but true. there is LOTS of info out there. the smartest thing you can do is do not freak out and get regular pap smears. if your smear is abnormal grade 2, you usually get treated (cryotherapy and so forth) and then you usually go to paps every 6months - and then every 12 once they are normal. lots of people don't get treated and the body corrects itself... but some need treatment.... awesome that you caught it early. good for you. be safe.

sounds like hpv or sumthin.
