Leaving behind something familiar is often a sad experience. You'll get over it.

Weird, I had the same thing, the flat Ieft caused nothing but problems, it was tiny, I had horrible neighbours, people leaving litter outside my door, but I was sad when I left. It's just because it's something you are used to, and probably a little bit apprehensive about where you are going to (same with the job).

Won't be long until you are enjoying your new experiences and you won't think twice abot leaving the old flat or job

Probably because of the change. I have 1 week left of my current job which I hate but I am feeling a bit sad about it too due to all the changes that will result

Possibly because all changes, whether we plan them or not, bring with them an element of sadness and insecurity/being unsure of whether the change is for the best. The feelings will pass once the new ways become the norm.

you're not sad. you're reacting to the change.
Change is changing from known states to unknown states. a mix of apprehension and mystery with excitement and relief.

you're scared and happy at the same time.

Change is a little death, but also a birth.
you'll be fine once the death dies and the birth is born.

You are afraid of change and you are not alone it doesn't matter how much you hate it as long as you are leaving it hurts. Forget about the past and look forward to future and that way you will enjoy you leaving.

Because they were a big part of your life - love it or hate it & now it won't be any more - probably for the better
Hope you're moving somewhere nice
