Its saying I have to have an iTunes store account and for that i need a credit card. Is there a way to get around that?

This isn't stupid at all, it took me a good two months to figure it out! All you have to do is right click on the item on your list, and then click on get info. From there, just click on the Artwork tab, and you can copy/paste whatever image you'd like into the box. It's that simple. Enjoy!

Yes, there is a way around the account thing. There are programs out there that put artwork automatically to your songs in iTunes. I found one called iTunes Art Importer. So sorry that I can't give you a link, 'cause I didn't save it, bu try googling and see if shows up.
