Don't be such an @$$hole...they don't get to talk loud in the library...they are doing the best they can to be quiet. And anyway, I find them much less annoying (and common) than the self-absorbed twits who are hooked up to their I-Pods the whole time they are tying up a computer terminal playing some role-playing game. Did I mention that while playing, they have five friends (all tuned to their own I-Pods) looking over their shoulder, giving instructions and advice and being none to quiet about it either?
At least the retarded kid is making the effort not to disturb anybody.

I think "retarded" is no longer an acceptable word to describe mentally slow and or autistic people.
My guess is that if these folks are talking loudly in the library - it's because they don't know any better.
