Try denatured alcohol, rubbing alcohol, or nail polish remover. Try them in a spot which won't show first, to see how they affect the plastic.

Try your local hardware store (like Ace) for Mostenbocker's Lift Off Graffitti Remover. I work in the upholstery industry, and have found this to work very well on a variety of things, from fabrics to plastics and even some painted surfaces. As with any cleaner, try it on a small, inconspicuous area first. Nice to know - it's biodegradeable and easy to use.

I took black permanent marker off my brand new kitchen cabinets with a little baking soda on a damp cloth. Rubbing alcohol may have removed the finish, but the baking soda takes the marker away with no prob. Easy to use on the computer tower/case, but watch where the powder goes. I've taken permanent marker off a whiteboard with baking soda, too.

Good ole rubbing alcohol and a clean soft cloth. What ever you do don't use nail polish remover because the acetone can eat the plastic.

Try rubbing alcohol .Wimpy markers dissolve with those imediately.
If it doesnt, try paint thinner or acetone, if you have those in the garage.
