i make my first visit to the gyneac tomorrow . . . . .i've heard from my friends that its the scariest thing that ever happened to them . . . .please gimme some details about what goes on at the doctors . . . . .please please please give me a detailed explanation about of what goes on inside so that i can prepare myself for the worst

it is scary the first time, you don't know what to expect and your embarassed as all get out to be naked in front of someone you don't know. all that's normal. the doctor should explain what they're doing as they do it, you might also ask the nurse when she's doing your BP and stuff what's going to happen. one of the nurses should be in the room with you and the doctor during the whole exam. she'll stand in back ~ just so they don't do anything improper while they're examining you.
found a decent site to visit....don't let it scare you - they don't do a rectal exam until your over 40.

its not so bad. they 'look'.. and then they stick this thing up there to scape some of your inner lining .. hurts, but not too bad.
