make a circle with your thumb and index finger.l then find a small object at a distance and with both eyes open, put the circle around the object. now close one eye then the other. On one of the eyes the object will stay within the circle, your dominant eye. And the other will see that the object has moved out of the circle, being your non dominant eye.

To tell which eye is dominant tear a small hole in a large peice of paper .....hold it at arms length and focus on something like a door knob ..... then have some one cover your right eye ..... if the object moves your are left eyed dominate if the object stays in one place have them place a card over your left eye and the object will move proving you are right eyed dominante it is a simple test just look through the hole and have some one cover your eyes one at a time the eye that the object dont move in is your dominanate eye!!Trust and beleive!!

Very easy. Look at a distant object with both eyes open. Now make a triangle with your index fingers and thumbs and hold it at arms length, and look at the object through the triangle. Now close one eye. Object still in the triangle? That is your dominant eye. Object not still in the triangle? You just closed your dominant eye.

You can feel it usually. It kind of feels as if one eye is doing all the work, while the other one is just kind of sitting there or being on your face "just for the ride".
If you cover one eye and kind of don't mind that its covered, that's the eye you don't use as much. If you cover an eye and get really uncomfortable, you're covering the dominant eye.

we did this in biology class.
1. Wtih both eyes open point to a corner in the room.
2. With both eyes closed, and still pointing to the corner, open right eye and evaluate whether you are stilling pointing to the corner.
3. Close both eyes again, and still pointing to the corner, open left eye and evaulate whether you are still pointing to the corner.
4. If one eye focused was farther than the other from the corner, that is the dominant eye.

Do you have a microscope. Look into one. You will immediately discover which eye is dominant.
