can i go online on my xbox 360 by networking it with my media center pc?

want to get a network through the rj-45 to my pc so that i can go online! This way i hope i can avoid a wireless network adaptor that my pc already has by placing my pc beside the xbox 360?

Yes all you need to do is connect your xbox 360 to a router. The setup is usually like this : Coxial cable from wall outlet to modem, ethernet cable from modem to router (WAN port), ethernet cable from pc to router(LAN port) and ethernet cable from xbox 360 to router (LAN port).
