Are you interested in our theories or confirmed information only?
Let me know, in your question "details" and I'll post my answer accordingly. For now, I'll share some of my favorite theories.

I think that Harry will find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes, with a lot of help from his friends and some unexpected sources, before his final battle with Voldemort. He probably get some useful information from Dumbledore, either through a saved memory in the pensieve or one of his portraits. I suspect that he may get some help from his house elf, Kreacher too. I don't think that he'll help him willingly, but if Harry orders him to tell him what he knows about Regulus and that heavy gold locket that no one could open at #12 Grimmauld Place, I think that he'll discover that one of the Horcruxes is right there in the house he inherited from Sirius. I think that Regulus Black was R.A.B. and that he used Kreacher to assist him steal the locket from the cave after he decided to quit being a Death Eater. He hid the locket at home before being killed and it might be one of those shiny objects that Kreacher had in his "nest", that is if Mundungus hasn't stolen it and sold it. If so, it may be at Borgin and Burkes by now.

While I believe both Ron and Hermione would be willing to sacrifice themselves for Harry (or each other) without hesitation, I don't think that they will have to. I can imagine that they will be injured, but not killed. They've got to live so that they can end up together, just like Harry and Ginny after he destroys Voldemort. I do think that one of the Weasley's will die though, sadly. It'll probably be George. Arthur, Ginny, and Ron have nearly been killed already, Bill was seriously injured, we don't like Percy, we don't know Charlie, so that leaves the Twins who we like as a pair. Fred and George didn't care about the Order when Arthur was injured, but if George was killed, Fred would dedicate himself to it instead of just being a prankster. He could be a real asset if he was focused, since he is actually quite talented. Mrs. Weasley did have that boggart showing her family dead and I've always worried that was a premonition and foreshadowing for one or more of their deaths to come later. Their family is at higher risk than most as "blood-traitors". =(

I don't think that Draco will turn into a "good guy" or a friend of Harry's, but I do think that he'll choose to help Harry. The way I could imagine that happening is if Voldemort kills Lucius (for failing to retrieve the prophesy and to punish Draco for refusing to kill Dumbledore). Draco and Narcissa fear Voldemort, but they'd be furious and would want revenge. What better way than to assist his enemy in destroying him? Harry heard Dumbledore offer to have the Order hide and protect the Malfoy's; if they provided some valuable information, like what/where a Horcrux is, then they'd get even with Voldemort and be safe. Plus, the Sorting Hat has advised the Houses to work together to overcome difficult times and while Snape and Sirius couldn't do it, I think that Draco and Harry will be able to. Allies with a common enemy, both having suffered the loss of a parent to the same villian. I expect that Neville will remember something important from the time he was present while his parents were tortured by the Lestranges. The Dementors forced Harry to recall memories he didn't know he had about his parents' murders, even though he was only 15 months old at the time. Maybe Neville will have a similar experience, he was the same age when his parents were attacked. Either way, I think he will likely have an important role in "Deathly Hallows". Both of his parents were powerful and talented, and now that he finally has a wand of his own and has gained some confidence I think that we will see Neville is more powerful than anyone (including himself and especially his grandmother) would expect.

Snape will be revealed to have been evil all along, though not loyal to either side. He joined the Death Eaters because he shared their beliefs, but is smart enough to have realized that Voldemort is a sociopath that will torture or kill anyone who gets in the way of what he wants, and that even his followers aren't safe from him if they disappoint him or try to leave his service. Snape knew he'd be killed if he tried to quit being a Death Eater, so he tried to ensure his safety by making himself valuable to Voldemort by becoming a spy against his enemy: Dumbledore. Dumbledore is famous for giving second chances to people that the wizarding world generally wouldn't (Hagrid, Squibs, Muggles, etc) so it would be less dangerous to deal with him than Voldemort. Plus, earning Dumbledore's trust by acting as a double-agent and spying on Voldemort for him would give Snape some powerful protection if things did go badly with Voldemort, which was virtually inevitable. Snape is a true Slytherin; shrewd, cunning, and willing to do what is necessary to get what he wants. In this case, it is to be safe and have respect. With the Death Eaters, he is one of Voldemort's most trusted servants and with Dumbledore he is a professor at Hogwarts of a subject he is gifted at and Head of Slytherin House. He overheard enough of the prophesy to know that Harry is the only one that can defeat Voldemort, and so even though he genuinely hates him, Snape has helped him. This would explain why Snape embarasses, threatens, and punishes Harry and yet has also saved his life and even gave him advice after dueling with him. He wants Harry to kill Voldemort, so that he will finally be free of him. If Harry fails, Snape has countless witnesses that could tell Voldemort how how much he hated Harry. He wins either way.

i'm a author, and you will take it from me. except J ok Rowling has lost her innovations, she can not kill Harry Potter. the 1st 3 books had variety of an uplifting ending. the subsequent 3 have been darker and ended no longer so solid. that's what writers do. You stick your considerable character in a tree and throw rocks at them, cause them to appear as if they're going to die, yet then you definately could desire to save them. Harry Potter will come out on suitable on the top of e book 7. i can not say the comparable for his acquaintances.

Well, the title is going to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, there is a rumor that it will be released on July 7th, 2007. I'm guessing there will be a party at a local Barnes & Noble for the book when it is released (check listings as the date approaches). I know that J.K. Rowling plans on killing off SOMEONE important to the series. Maybe you should Google up some secrets, because people are being VERY stingy with their HP secrets.

An actual release date has not been announced. 7/07/07 is a rumor. Scholastic who publishes the books in the US does not have an official release date, and neither does the UK publisher Bloomsbury.

First of all i'd like to say this is TORCHER(sp?) having to wait for book 7!! But can't wait for it. :) not said weather harry dies or not. all she'll say is that it would be a good way to end the book with out harry there isn't a book. She said that one of the questions that should have been asked that wasn't is why did dumbledor have harry's dad's invs. cloak? she said something like we'll find out more in book 7. try looking up JK rowling interviews or mugglenet.com. that's how i find out a lot of things.

i thought that i heard that she makes harry die being that it is the last harry potter book. she dosen't want another author picking up the storyline when passes away. its been done in the past so if she does kill harry in this one, she'll be realy smart for doing it.
