How can u tell if your left brain or right brain? How can u tell though?

Well if you are left handed then you are right brained if you are right handed then you are left bained - but here comes the confusing part
if you are good at math and languages then that indicates that you are more left brain dominate and if you are artistic then you are right brain dominate - but if you are good at everyting then you have great cross over abilities _which would indicate that you are probably a female.

There are two sides of a personality which is governed by left and the right brains. All the reasoning and logic is done by the left side of the brain or the left brain. The right side of the brain or the right brain does all the creative thinking.

If you think before taking a decision or before an action and then arrive at the solution e.g. whether to spend money on a particular car or not....you are using your left brain but if you are taking a decision just like that e.g. you like a green dress better than a pink one...you are using your right brain.

Generally speaking ladies are more prone to using their right brains and guys are more prone to using their left brains.

Also Left brain controls the right parts of the body whereas the right brain controls the left parts of the body.

Left brain = logic while Right Brain = creativity. This is very generalized but if you draw more then like doing math problems, you are probably right brained for example.

There are tests you can take that state that they can determine your hemispheric dominance. I took one in 8th grade at my school and I'm strongly right brained it said. Look up hemispheric dominance tests on yahoo and see what you come up. I came up with several when i typed that in, one is listed in the source list below.

Sperry is the guy who originally started the whole hemispheric dominance idea after he did the split brain research. I don't think psychologists ever determined whether a person could in fact have a stronger right or left hemisphere... it was researched though and was popularized in the early 70's and again in the early 90's.
