There are less bones when a person is older. Bones in the skull and some in the hands and feet fuse together during childhood and the fusing isn't complete until the teenage years.

No,
The number of bones present in the human body doesn't change weather the person is a child or an old person. The only thing is that the size of bones increases as the age of the person increases. And this growth will stops after some particular age.
Not only bones but also all organs grow with age and will stop growing after some age.

Technically, when a child is born - they are born with more bones than an adult because some bones in their body are still yet to fuse together (eg: their crainum - skull).
As a kid grows older, their bones start to get stronger when they fuse together.
By the time you're fully grown, you have all your bones joined together.

NO!

Why would you think that as we grow older that we would grow more bones? The bones we do have may become more brittle, but harder or less hard doesn't change the actual number.
