well am 17 and i have a girl which i really care about and love she tells me she loves me and she cares about me also but everything changes when she is around people like if she is a whole different person sometimes when i feel sad or in need of talking to some one i always turn to her she listens and tells me all this sweet stuff only when she is by her self but when she is around her sister or others she cant even tell me i love u or she just doesnt talk to me at times even when am feeling down and am telling her that am sad or frustrated with something its like if i dont exist to her i tell her how i feel when she does that but she doesnt really care to what am saying...and it makes me feel down and i dont really know what to do in that situation...thats y am asking for advice i want to know if she really loves me or cares about me or is she just pretending...

No, she's not pretending. I have a hard time showing my true feelings around my family, too. I care, but some how I want to act tough and want my hubby to act tough and that nothing is wrong. You may want to confront her about it, but don't act pissy. I just don't like to be lovey dovey and go through emotional things around my family. Girls are weird!! Forgive us! Take care.

I don't know why she would pretend to love you. You do sound very needy. It's not attractive. Maybe you could go to counseling. She can't fix everything. That's a lot for one person. Maybe you could try talking to a friend or family member sometimes. That way you aren't always counting on only her to pick you up every time you're down.

Dont listen to the guy above girls like guys who express how they feel and that dont always try to b the macho dude and making the girl feel like nothing to what i have read she does care about you but at times it might seem difficult for her to express it around her family with time she will start showing well good luck

If you are going to continue to play, the sad little boy role, she is going to get fed up with you. A woman likes a man, who is strong, and gentle. Don't get gentle confused with weak and sad.

She loves you all right, but maybe she doesn't want to show it to the world. give her some time.and you are only 17. so she must be younger to you. But she surely cares for you.
