I have never cried watching a movie... although my eyes have gotten watery a couple of times. When I was a teenager a saw the movie Ghost in the movie theater and some people were weeping, which makes it the movie where I have witnessed most people cry. My eyes got watery, also as a teenager, watching Dances With Wolves in the scene where the guy from the military was shooting at Kevin Costner´s dog. As far as Titanic, when DiCaprio drowned I didn't´t cry at all and I just said to myself.... damn at last this damn movie is over.

well, i cry a lot of times specially if i can relate to what the story is trying to portray or tell. Those movies that really touches our hearts . we may have experiences in life where we can relate to what the story is telling and we usually put our own emotions that's why we get carried away. those movies include white fang, far away from home , homeward bound, land before time. you know, animal stuff. i love animals

of course... movies have a cathartic effect on the psyche. They provide an emotional release... for men and women. Men are no less emotional beings than women. Emotion is passion and we should all live are lives with passion.

I cry at the scene where Red is free at the end of Shawshank redemption and he goes to Zuewataneo to find Andy.. Pretty much any sad, slow music makes me tear up. But that one always does it for me.

Emotional scenes, usually family related, always bring a tear or two in my eye but luckily I have got down to actual crying.
Cheers.
