I also have big boobs. I guess a V-neck, but exactly what? I like in FL so it's not too cold. I'd like something that hides my belly basically

Get something that accentuates the smallest or narrowest part of your body. To hide your belly get something gathered or ruched, maybe with an empire waist so it skims over your belly. For big boobs no tube tops or little tiny straps. Wrap necks look great on big chests, as do scoop necks and thicker straps.

big boobs can definitely take the eye away from the belly. I think that emphasizing your assets has a way of camoflauging your more unattractive features. If you wear high waisted shirts that are gathered under the breast area those help to hide stuff that you don't want to be seen. If you wear things with prints they tend to help (as long as they are not horizontal stripes). Dark clothing is flattering and wearing the same color on top and bottom tend to lengthen your body or at least appear to lengthen it. Wearing shoes that are not flat on the bottom help give the impression of height. Just don't try to wear clingy clothes because those make a full figured woman look ridiculous. Layering is also nice. you can wear v neck tops with a fitted jacket to accentuate curves and hide certain unflattering parts. I've been full figured for a number of years now and have dealt with this sort of thing. I have come to realize that full figured women can be beautiful too. I no longer equate beauty with the size of a woman's waist. Accesories are also fun to play around with....purses and stuff like that can keep you in with the current trends. Just pick clothing that you are comfortable in...and clothes that don't cling....and colors that suit your complexion and hair/eye color....neutrals are always a good staple to have. OK this is enough for now because I never ever give sincere answers because most of the questions are lame. Good Luck...oh, if there is a Burlington Coat Factory there...they should have a really nice selection of modern cute clothing at extremely reasonable prices in comparison to places like Lane Bryant. OK enough! bye!

I know how you feel!
A dress that looks good on that body type is a V-neck and get a high waist, like an empire waist so it hits the smallest part of you. don't do a big all over print, solid colors are better, but the don't have to be dark colors. Don't get anything clingy, let it cinch in under your boobs then flow away from your body. That style would look great on you!

Definitely find a dress with no extreme embellishment that draws attention to your waist. A wrap dress will actually make your waist seem smaller. Also, if your chest is big you'll want to find something that covers it and supports it well. Find a dress that hits at the knee and it'll make you look taller. I personally recommend a short-sleeved dress because I think they're really classy.

Follow the link below and see an example of what I'm saying. I think the slate color is definitely more fun than the black.

I would suggest something that is v neck and has an empire waist, a tie underneath your chest that accentuates the top and right under your chest above your belly button.

Something flowy, not to tight. Maybe look for details on the bottom of the dress to add some fun.

Wear clothes that shape in at the waist, then close to the hips. Dont wear boxy stuff. Wear similar colours top and bottom, two contrasting colours that end at the waist will cut u in half and make u look shorter.
Dont wear boob tubes or muffin pants - u sound like u have good sense anyway.
i am the same body type as u and I wear shirts that taper at the waist, but dont flare over the hips - anything with flare or pleats over the hips will make them look wider.

What about a long gown, I heard from (the host from) Rachel
Rey show, that if your a short person, you should always wear long dresses because ,you will be wearing high heels to make you taller and that will make the dress stand out. Look for something like a formal dress, they are nice.

start watching "What Not to Wear" on TLC, they usually say to wear shirts and dresses that have a hem line right below the bust, not wear anything too open (revealing too much), and dont wear it too long (below knee), no heels with ankle straps but wear shoes with more of a point (extends the look of the leg), wear slacks that fit the widest point of the body and fall from the leg straight to create a longated look of the leg. Good Luck!

Get a nice black dress, but not with spaghetti straps and get a V neck and then get a nice big belt to go round your waist (trust me it's amazing) and do your hair really nice as well as some really pretty make-up!

Have fun!
