well my biased opinion as a Packer fan is to say Brett Favre, even with his age and the lack of talent around him, that guy is a stud!! My unbiased opinion would be Drew Brees, or Peyton Manning! I would have also included Donovan Mcnabb in there, but the guy cant seem to finish a season unhurt, and durability is a good trait to have as a quarterback! Brees, played lights out this year on a team that wasnt expected to do anything, and Manning is just as good as he always has been, its just too bad that his team has no defense and will get killed in the playoffs!

Brett Favre....He is more durable than any, as strong of an arm as most and well more than average accuracy. His numbers have suffered a little this year, but he has the youngest offensive line in the league and 4 receivers that he has not played with for more than a year and his tight end cannot seem to hold onto balls. He has only one losing season in his entire career, has been to two superbowls, has won one superbowl and is a three time MVP. He also plays at least half of his games outside at the windy, and often cold, Lambeau field as well as one at Soldier field and he has done that his entire career.
It is hard for me to say Manning because he has always had weapons and plays in a dome at least 8 games a year on quick turf. He has perfect throwing conditions for at least half of his games.
Brady would be my second choice because he has the superbowls and appears to be a good leader with very good passing numbers and he plays outdoors.
Take away domes and put everyone on real grass, outside, and see what happens. Go Brett!!!!!

Well let's talk about the QB's right now for week 17. Right now Peyton Manning is tops any team would like to have him; he has competition with Drew Brees. Here's the deciding factor though: If Peyton Manning can't take his team (A). to the Superbowl and win or (B). as far as the Saints, then Drew Brees would be the best QB.

All you have yo do is look at the stats. Favre is the best hands down! He has records, Super Bowl ring, 3 MVP's, and hasn't had much of an offense to play with the last couple of years. He can take hits and he gets back up. He plays through family crisis' and wins. He is a teacher. He is still feared by defenses because despite of his age, he still has a dangerous arm.
The man loves the game, the fans and is still fun to watch!

Tom Brady? That's ridiculous. He's solid, but not spectacular. The Pats have won zip since Charlie Weiss left (to coach Notre Dame).
Favre? The question is, who is the best TODAY. Favre hasn't been great for a good 4 seasons now.
Gotta be Peyton Manning. Over 4000 yards of passing in a season for seven seasons in a row and counting. Pro Bowl QB 7 times. 2 time MVP of the league.
The Colts are stumbling due to defensive problems, not due to Peyton.

Tom brady. first of all look at his offence he has an average offensive line he has probaly the worst wide revievers and his running back is not getting the job done without brady the patriots are not a playoof contender now put brady back in and they are superbowl contenders put brady in any team and the ywill be successful he is aslo underrated and was not pick to get in the pro bowl which was shocking but he has the rings and and can get the job done consisitly so the best qb in the nfl is tom brady there is just so much you can say about this guy and what he can do

It's not brady...
He's never put up huge numbers, and the defense has always carried the team...
Manning can't win a super bowl
neither can McNabb
Vick needs a decent reciever so we can see if he can throw...
So that leaves Brett Farve.
now, when you're 36 and you have no line or recievers, you're gonna look bad.
BUT farve has put up huge numbers, and he has won a super bowl.
Until he retires, it's farve.
Brady's second
Peyton is third
Donovan McNabb is fourth (he's put up decent numbers with recievers who could make any QB look like ****...ake mushrooms)
Fifth... um, Steve McNair. He's good, and has Super Bowl experience.

I think without a doubt its gotta be Peyton Manning. Purely from a student of the game Peyton Manning is just brilliant. Also using Tony Bruno's arguement from Madden, Terry Bradshaw has four super bowl rings. I won't consider him in my top 20 greatest quarterbacks. Although I will conside that Brady will probably be remembered more often then Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning, obvious choice for a reason. He's played so well and so consistently for so long. He's got great vision, terrific accuracy, and plus he's got the most important quality - football intelligence. His ability to read defenses and audibilize at the line is his greatest asset, and the greatest reason why the Colt's offense is so efficient.
Having Peyton is like having another offensive coordinator lined up in your backfield.
