i can't seem to find any household products i have at home that include either..
calcium sulfate or sodium silicate.
i asked a similar question on yahoo before, and that helped a lot..but i realize, i don't have any products at home with these ingredients...
i thought baking powder had calcium sulfate, but uh, it said something like calcium bicarbonate instead? something like that.
and as for the sodium silicate...i don't eat preserved eggs, and so..i don't think i have anything at home with it...
can anyone suggest any household products that may include either calcium sulfate or sodium silicate in their ingredients? heh, thank youu.

plaster contains calcium sulfate, and calcium sulfate is also used in the production of tofu (fresh will more likely list as an ingredient).

Sodium silicate is used in fireproofing as well as in concrete treatment to decrease porosity.

Calcium sulfate is also in drywall,I think. Chalkboard "chalk" is also calcium sulfate.
Sodium silicate is present in small amounts in bleach, along with sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide.

calcium sulfate is found in many baked good such as bread

sodium silicate is found in chalk and tofu like they already said
if you can't find it you can allways ask ms.trimble
