Yep, if they are up to one inch they are at least up to their seventh week by now. You're way past the critical stage where a missed feeding means a tank full of dead fry. By now coloration and fin development should be kicking into overdrive so your little babies are no longer fry...congrats.

I'm sure you already know this but since it sounds like you're raising some little piglets I'd try to cut down on the bbs to avoid any swim bladder problems. A break from that stuff would probably do them some good. *People list a million and one causes for SBD but since bbs is one of the causes mentioned most I thought I'd throw that in there.

If they are an inch long they really aren't fry any more. A hungry day once a week would do them good just like adults. Also for betta the words fat and healthy don't go together. Potbellies are a sign of over feeding.

i've heard some people do this when they go away for a day or 2...
If you have daphnia, dump a lot of them into the tank... The daphnia will live in the tank indefinitely until eaten by the fries.

Other live food usually die and is left uneaten and then fouls the water but not daphnia.

Can you? Yea. Should you? No. Fry have a very fast metabolism because they grow so fast, and need to be fed several times every day.

yeah...you can..... if a few dies... it is okay... those fry(that do die) in the future won't be able to survie that well.
