Your breast go through a lot of changes during pregnacy. They are expanding for milk storage and productions. They grow and develop sacs, and milk "lines" and become larger. All that sudden growth and change causes tenderness or soreness.

Your milk ducts are revving up for major production! There are lots of hormones rushing around that make them swell slightly.. which causes soreness.
