The best place to start riding is in a motorcycle school like those run by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. These lessons take a weekend, and you'll practice riding on a bike the school supplies. I highly recommend doing this before you ride on the street - maybe even before you get your bike.
For a first bike, I'd keep it under 50 hp. That's still enough to give a sportbike a Corvette-like power to weight ratio. A 100 hp, 600 cc bike is not the easiest thing for a first time rider to try and keep under control when you're still getting the hang of how the clutch works.
There's several good sport bikes in the 50 hp and under range from Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Buell. Sit on all of them and see which one feels the most comfortable.

definite, i understand numerous who journey and journey them basically besides if no more beneficial than most of the smaller adult males. The motorcycles that they have got are the GSX - R 600, that adult males is a minimum of 285, ZX6R and he's round 275, and ZX10 at about 270. i'm confident in the experience that they positioned on even 20 extra lbs they'd nonetheless be able to journey them. sit down on them first and word what's comfortable. Your best difficulty besides seat convenience would nicely be the quantity of weight that is going to be on your hands. you're assume to help maximum of your weight with your abdomen and reduce back muscular tissues, yet once you're cruising alongside, you'll likely loosen up and help your self with your hands. You hands receives sore extremely quickly so that you need to apply bar risers to get a significantly better attitude or you may evaluate a extra upright bike like the Ninja 650 or similar. nonetheless has the crotch rocket seem yet a extra comfortable using position. or you may pick some thing like the game tourer that some different person said beforehand. There are numerous of those available too. even if you get, make confident you've the acceptable using equipment. There are numerous manufacturers available who make stuff for larger adult males so as that should not be a difficulty until eventually you're a very short 280. Even then you extremely may be able to locate some thing particular order.

The very first thing I would recommend is to sign up for a motorcycle rider's safety course (the strategies have already saved my life several times over). Then start with something LESS than 80 HP., and remember that the throttles on superbikes are ULTRA sensitive. If you have the "need for speed" go to a moto-track, take some instruction there, and make sure your insurance (medical, vehicle, life) is paid up. You will die on this thing, if you don't respect it.

GXSR 750 or a 500- try a yamaha or a suzuki and start simple and clean. Don't be a nut and ALWAYS wear FULL leathers- its saved my husbands life 3 times (so Cal fwys) He's been riding for 22 years. Talk to a reputable shop and shop! Go on websites- get the new comparison mags and read the comparisons- no use getting too big an engine- better that its cheaper, cleaner, and dependable- it will still look cool if you get matching helmet, leathers and lean how to LEAN, Go to track riders- riding school or something-well worth irt. (from a wife of 20 years who met her husband on the freeway on his bike and was checking out his "tan" and levis-no I wasn't raised that way- but he was hot!)

First-Grasp the English language and proper spelling before taking on a task that can take your life.
Second-Get daddy to buy you a 07 R1, then tell your buddies what flowers you like. That way they know what to place on your grave.
Stupidity, *********, alcohol are things that don't mix with bikes!
