well it's illegal and you can get viruses from it- thats why people say its bad...but i have it and i love it...i get all the free songs i want...i love it you should totally get it! just make sure when u download the song u look at the file size. if it's a normal song it should be about 2,000 to 7,000 in size...look at the others and see if they're about the same size too! never get any that are really small or really big. those are viruses. and for videos they should be about 30,000 minimun in size and the rest will range around that but dont get anything higher than 70 or 80,000 or smaller than 20,000 again, those are viruses. i hope i helped! oh and you also might wanna have a virus protector on your computer..just in case!

Bands make greater money from followers going to concert activities & paying for shirts, posters, stickers, etc. than they do from album sales. I have not got any issue downloading music, nearly all of the time i could in no way purchase albums with the aid of fact in basic terms some tracks are good on the CD and not worth a purchase order. There are some bands obtainable that are own favorites wherein i'll purchase their CD, yet for the main area if i choose for to help a band i will purchase something different than an album.

I use it all of the time and I don't have problems with it. Oh, you must deside if it is "bad" Do research on Intellectual Property (google it) and see what it is all about. I did a paper on it and...well, it is interesting what you may find out. If I know of a artist that I love and I know I will like all of the songs, I buy the CD. I mostly download Christmas songs and Instrumentals. You can also download movies.

No, actually its not. Limewire Pro is much much much better but both work.
If you cant get that to work for you, theres always Ares (I forget the site to it --- but its a P2P program - if you go to yahoo search bar, and type in Ares P2P Filesharing, it should be like the first link)

Hope I helped =)

Well yes. One, because the music you're downloading is free. That's illegal, and two, because limewire is a free site you also have a bunch of viruses embedded within the site. So if you download songs, there's a good chance you're also downloading viruses. Buuut, if you're not worried about either of those two things (and if they catch you for illegal downloading it's $10,000 a song for fines), then it's a good source for music. :0)

Just buy it.

any p2p has inherint risk, such as being sued by record companies. That said, i use limewire often, and have never had any problems. You had better have norton or similiar, and run spybot search and destroy after downloading files.

it ain't that bad, just illegal. But if ur using p2p softwares then it depends on the user-friendliness of the program.

try using bearshare...its better than limewire...4 me :)
