They need to be PG-13 and not so scary that I will run out of the theatre.

theres no such thing as a good scary movie in the past couple years even... and if its scary enough it will be rated r... so u could go see really crappy movies if u wanna pg-13 horror movie like the grudge or that other piece of crap sarah michelle gillar was in... the only one that was good but not completly too scary that i think is pg-13 was the others with nicole kidman

A good horror movie is never rated PG-13 ... but you could rent The Descent and watch it in the dark living room.

wel...... the ring 1 and 2, the grudge 1 and 2, thirteen ghosts, amtyville horror, boogeyman, house of wax and fog. those are my favourites . rent them, turn off the lights, close the curtains and get some popcorn ^_^ they seem scarier when u watch them in the dark...O.o?
