How good are the facilities? How safe is it to stay here in a priavte studio? Is Willisden Green walking distance from Kings X in Central London?

I haven't stayed at that hostel but Willesden Green is a pretty good place. Its fairly safe, multicultural and has loads of shops and restaurants on the High Road. Unfortunately there's hardly any nightlife here, but its close enough to Kilburn and Cricklewood which both have loads of bars.
Walking to Kings Cross would take several hours, but there is a Tube station at Willesden Green that would get you there in 20-25 minutes after a change at Baker Street.
