Yes, it is possible. Yes, there is a lot of pain. For weeks. But the worst pain is the mental pain that lasts for the rest of your life when you realise that the foreskin is gone forever and you will NEVER enjoy sex as much again! It should only be done in the most extreme medical cases. Try EVERY alternative first.

Well, first of all, take absolutely no notice of the people who tell you that an adult circumcision is painful! I was originally circumcised by personal choice, when I was 40. I had a general anaesthetic and I did not feel a thing. During the healing process (about 3 weeks in all) the only time when you will feel any discomfort is during nocturnal erections which pull hard on the stitches. Just get up and walk around and things will go down and return to normal quite quickly. 20 years on from my original circumcision, the remaining skin had stretched a little, giving a looser effect which my wife and I did not like, so I had a second circumcision to remove the surplus skin and make things ultra-tight. I had this performed under a local and watched the whole thing! It did not hurt at all during the circumcision, but the tension during night-time erections was probably worse, due to the extreme tightness of the circumcision. After 3 weeks, everything was healed - easy! As for "How" it is done - it's a simple procedure of cutting round the foreskin below the groove under the head of your penis, then pulling the skin forwards and cutting round a second time to remove the sleeve of unwanted skin. The maximum amount of skin should be removed to give a "Tight" result for maximum benefit. The two cut edges of skin are then sewn together with dissolving sutures and off you go - nothing to it! Circumcision is very beneficial and afterwards you will have better hygiene, comfort, appearance to women, self-esteem and FAR better sex for both you and your female partner(s) Tell your "Friend" to go ahead - all men should be circumcised.

A friend of mine got circumsized at 23 years of age. He said it was a painful recovery. He also informed me that he doesn't 'last' as long during sex now. Guess the moral of the story....Save Time with Less Skin.

Yes it is possible. A family member had it done and he said it wasn't that painful. The doctors gave him pain medicine for the pain. He recovered in about 1-2 months, but some minor discomfort lasted for a longer time.

Yes they can but the procedure is alot more complicated than when it is done on an infant and there are more risks involved. Unless there is a medical reason ( or he is a male living in Africa) I suggest he let things be.

Yes, but I've heard that it's very painful and the recovery time is longer than that of the newborn circumcised time frame.

Yes, it can be done if the person has a problem with frequent infections. I had a friend that had it done in his 40's. It wasn't fun for him but everything went okay.

They can and its painful as hell!!! they do it when you are a baby because you have less nerves and the nerves you do have are under developed so it hurts less. Also if it does hurt you dont remember it. He is gonna be sore for awhile if he does it.
