is it wrong to uses tools or porn in self gratification? I was advised that using porn was rude, what about a vibrator or something. that does not seem to violate this rule?

I dont see a problem with any of it but my spouse thinks that me using porn is offensive, yet she uses a vibrator. and no I am not adicted, would rather do it with her than alone, but... perhaps she is.

I wonder--rude to whom? If you don't go around telling all the neighbors about your massive stash of porn and toys under the bed, then really--who's to know?

Toys are just that -- toys. Again, what the neighbors don't know won't hurt them!

I only think it may become a problem if that's the ONLY way you can achieve gratification, and cannot have relations normally with a partner. Then you have a problem. Don't let it come to that, because porn is very addictive...

Sounds like soebody has already made up their ind that only a certain style of sex is acceptable. If that is the way it is for you then obviously vibrators break the "rule" as do ribbed condoms, oils and anything that enhances your pleasure when making love. What you have to decide is whether that rule applies to you.
