I agree with everything they stand for. I believe that people should all work together and we should have a strong central gov't. I think people should stand up for what they believe in and not let their voices be unheard. We should provide free medical insurance to the elderly because many of them are too weak and frail to support themselves. Helping them in their last years on earth would be greatly appreciated by all of their loved ones. I approve of abortions for my own personal reasons, not because I have ever had one but because I feel if someone were too young to have a child and be healthy, that is better than giving up their own lives. Not all children get adopted and many are placed in unsatisfying foster homes. It is better for a child to be non-existent rather than to be a child suffering birth defects if a parent were to do drugs or to drink alcohol or even smoke cigarettes during their pregnancy. I am sorry if you disagree with by opinions but I am a liberal and I don't give a crap what you think of me. Take it or leave it.

A Liberal is defined as one who favors reform and progress. You don't so much "chose" to be a Liberal as are born with it. (It has been discovered that when a conscience, a brain, and a feeling of kindness for humanity are found in one person the subject will eventually develop into a Liberal). A Liberal is someone with a social consciousness that takes precedence and is a priority in their lives. People over money.

I don't choose to be liberal, I just am.

I believe in treating people kindly. I believe in treating animals kindly. I believe in giving people choices and letting them make up their own minds what's best for them. No, that doesn't mean I think we should let 10 year olds choose to shoot up herion so please don't get your panties in a bundle. I don't smoke pot but I do believe that either pot should be legalized or alcohol and cigarettes should be made illegal. If you want to compare how many people each of those kill per year....

I don't believe in capital punishment because it's not punishment at all, it's just revenge. We should treat others the way we want to be treated, not the way they themselves treat others.

Like I said, to me being liberal is not a choice, I just know that's how my views tend to lean.

for the economy and army im concervative. on issues such as abortion (if i were 15 and had a kid... id rather have it aborted than go through all the ****), DEA (i want weed to be legal), gay marriage (whose business is it that two gay people love each other), stem cell research (it can help people eventually) im liberal. im down with getting paid and being free to do what i want such as buy an ounce of weed and smoke it in front of a cop... oh how i dream of the day. oh im also a fan of states rights but thats neither here nor there.

I don't like labels, but I'll tell you what I stand for:

- more choices in life, not fewer. I have no desire to limit peoples access to any kind of literature or video. What they choose to read or view is nobody's business.

- I believe in helping those who cannot help themselves, or who are just in need of a leg up. I don't hide behind phrases like "personal responsibility" as an excuse to just be cheap.

- as an extension of my first statement above, I believe that young people deserve access to information regarding sex, pregnancy, etc. and access to contraception. Our teen birth rate in the US is 9X that of the Netherlands, and they didn't achieve their statistics through religious fear, "abstinence programs," etc.

That'll do for a start.......

Me? Socially - Moderate to Liberal; Fiscally - Moderate to Mildly Conservative. I vote Democratic because they appear to want to build the middle class up; they appear to have more respect for the Constitution; they appear to NOT want to go out and start wars with every country, and recently - they are more fiscally responsible than Republicans.
