i have no clue what eli jones means..but its too early to figure it out..as a giants fan i am happy we got eli..in the long run i think it will work out..yes, big ben won a superbowl already..but his situation is very rare..and this year..well he didnt look so hot...rivers on the other hand..gets all this credit..but wait..he throws what, 15 times a game tops usually..LT is the reason the chargers are what they are, not philip rivers...eli has all of the spotlight on him because of who his brother is, playing in ny, and the whole draft stuff...in the end..eli will prove to be the best choice and worth everything giants gave up for him..remember, he isnt a 10 year pro, this is only his 2nd full season..his 1st full he brought them into the playoffs..and he still has a chance to go this year...his brother got demolished early in his career by teams, but now that is overlooked, just like it will when eli gets more comfortable in the game

The Giants would have kept Rivers for starters and would not have a lame duck like Manning. Big contract, no chance of trading him drafting him was a mistake the Giants will regret for seasons to come. Cutting him would even be a problem due to the salary cap.

well then I'm sure he would have been very confused growing up with his father and brother both named Manning...

but what if Eli Manning could get to choose again if he wants to play for the big market Giants or the go-nowhere Chargers? :)
