Inexpensive DVRs?

I cannot find any DVRs to record TV other than Tivos.

I just want a plain DVR. Something that works just like a VCR with out tapes. I think its silly that I can't find such a device.

You can also get the DVR service with Direct TV which is really nice, we have it and it's only like $100 plus 5 dollars a month which is pretty good compared to TiVo.

Try Best Buy. The cheapest DVR is the LiteOn and its about $80.
