I am in the middle of doing research for a book that I have a couple agents interested in. I would love to find a ghostwriter/coauthor who has the time and interest in helping me pursue the writing and research. Any suggestions?

Join some writers' groups and associations. That's where you'll find the good writers, the ones who are treating this more as a career.

Check out your local writer's guild and do a search online for groups that are relevent to your topic. For instance, if you're writing a true crime story, you may want to join Crime Writers of Canada or Sisters in Crime.

Also check author forums. Just search "author forums".

Once you find some groups to join, post a message looking for a co-writer. Make sure you specify genre, topic and your expectations in the first post.

Yes. Go to Google.com and search on "ghostwriters." You'll find individuals offering their services as well as extra resources on the ins and outs of choosing and working with a ghostwriter.

Good luck with your project!

You didn't provide a lot of detail, but contact me, dan.kedir@yahoo.com. I suggest using regular e-mail. I've had problems communicating through the Yahoo Answers system.
