Payton Manning makes some of the funniest commercials I've seen in a while, he knows how people perceive him as a hickish, but yet intelligent football quarterback. He's such a big name and important player you would expect him to be stuck up, but his commercials in a way make fun of himself, and bring him back down to earth making us think of him as more "human"

In my opinion, It would have to be Football players, because it is the most popular of all sports.
A close second would be Olympic athletes

I am not a basketball fan, but I liked the commercials that Michael Jordan did for Hanes underwear.
