I read the other answers and it is clear that none of them are English.I am so you will get a correct answer. They will have either a turkey, goose or a large chicken. It will be served with stuffing inside the bird.Vegetables probably a mixture of peas brussel sprouts, runner beans and two types of potatoes roast and mashed. Now yorkshire pudding has been added. In olden days all the above plus parsnips. Then the Xmas pudding will be served either with brandy sauce ,custard or cream. It is usual to put silver coins in the pudding,Great for the children to find and keep.Sometimes jelly and trifle are served as well. Mint chocolates and Turkish delight after the meal. Most important to have on the table Xmas crackers with toys and mottoes inside Drinks for adults wine beer and sometimes champagne, soft drinks for the children...

Most english people dont so that any more. That was the traditional thing to do and they thought it as a legacy or something. (ugh). But for now, I dont think they do. Every now in then, even at weddings or parties, they will. But its not as commonn as it used to be. I heard anyways.
