My answer depends on what you mean by keeping the baby... I am pro-choice since I think that it is not a governmental matter, but I am also anti-abortion. If you are having problems with your boyfriend, do you think that he will change in a few months? Since he wants to keep the baby, do you think that he will help support the child?

Since you are asking what I would do, I would keep the baby and raise it if I were financially and emotionally able to give him or her a good life with either the support of the father or familial support, or I would find suitable people who were financially and emotionally able to give him or her a good life through adoption.

If it was me, I would keep the baby. I don't know about you or anyone else, but I couldn't live with myself knowing that I killed an innocent person who didn't even ask to be here. The only thing I can tell you is to really look over your options. Decide what would be best for you in your situation. You might not have the resources necessary to raise a child. Your boyfriend may want the baby now, but keep in mind that things could change concerning the two of you in the future. Hope all turns out well.

Honestly, I would have an abortion. I know that is not the PC answer nowadays, and lots of stupid but well meaning people like to blather on about how a fetus is a life and a cute widdle baby. It's not. It's a clump of cells the size of a quarter.

If it were me, I would never want to be tied down to an ex in the first place, much less one who didn't want the kid. What would I have to offer a child? I don't have a job, I'm still in school, the kids dad wouldn't be around, or if he was around, he would just be a shitty dad.

No thanks. I would just abort it and be done with it.

My wife asked me the same question after she became pregnant.

I will offer you the same advice. The baby is innocent, and has every right that you and I have to live. Abortion is not even a question.

And before I get stoned to death..please consider this:

#1 I was adopted my self.

#2 The baby that my wife did deliver 8 months later.................was not mine..I was tested on my beliefs... I passed.

Yeah, my son's dad wanted us to have the baby too. He was adamant. But as "baby time" approached, he got more and more antsy.
He ended up splitting before my son was even born and 16 years later has NEVER so much as laid eyes or a penny of child support on his son.
Make this decision yourself. It is yours to make because you will be the one raising that baby. Mark my word.
Peace

Girl, it is all on you. It is only your baby and only your decision. He doesn't have any right legally to tell you what to do, and he isn't going to be the one dealing with 9 months of being preggers and probably won't be dealing with the discrimination of being a young parent. You, and only you, have to decide. Don't let him sway your opinion. You have the option of having the baby and giving it up for adoption to him or his parents if he really wants it that bad. I love babies...and I don't like abortion at all...but seriously, consider all your options.

It's honestly your decision unless he wants to raise it. Look into all your options before you do anything though. Make sure he knows that for 18 years this child is his sole responsibility is his if you decide you aren't fully ready.

I would get an abortion. I can't raise a kid. It's too much stress and I can't afford to feed a second mouth. I would only decide to have kids if I'm married to my true love, with a high paying job, and if I have my Master's degree in communications.
