Get her to look up words that she doesn't know how to spell in a dictionary. It helped me with my spelling.

This might sound odd..but yahoo has a game called text twist....it helped my son with his spelling.......they have several word games......

also I found that repetition helped him ...writing the word over and over than spelling it out loud......
