Stay out of it, let them cool down. If one of your parents comes up to you and ask you for your opinion, say I don't know. You obviously don't come from a family that fights a lot.

Poor thing, unfortunately they are adults, and adults sometimes fight. I suggest if it is a rare thing, just go out for a while or put earphones on (or put music on real loud to block them out) only you know what they will accept, I would use the loud music and when challenged by them state quite strongly that unless they fight in private this is how you will deal with it. Failing that, storm out of the house yelling loudly that you can stand this behaviour from supposedly mature adults. On the other hand, if it scares you, just leave quietly and go visit a friend till you think it has blown over, then try and find a good moment to talk to whichever parent you are the most comfortable with and ask them to wait till you cant hear them if they must fight again. They may need help, counselling or just some space, and although it hurts you I'm afraid there is not really much you can do

My inlaws did that like crazy...never saw it until i came into their house.
Their children knew only how to ignore it and shut it out....
I sat them both down and said, Their behaviours are very childish and immature, If you have an end goal seperation then it is for a cause. But if they are fighting just to get up and go to bed in the same bed then who cares who can win or for that matter who is right and who is wrong.
The choice is yours to make but if you do fight again then i am going to call the cops....Its been more than a year, never saw a fight again. They must be doing it when we are not around but who cares as long as you don't have to witness it.

Leave the house during these incidents, go to a neighbors or to a friends. You do not need to subject yourself to this abuse. It is abuse because they are disrespectful of how you feel. Parents should never argue in front of a child.

try your best to stay out of it because it could be really hard to ingore your family problems and don't worry about it because everything heppens for a reason. example: one of my friend was so worried that she just thought about her familly all the time stopped doing homework, didn't want to come home from school, losy some weight.

Just stay out of it and realize it has NOTHING to do with you or any other kids they may have. Adults have problems and get angry and yell.

Prayer, ask God for strength for you because you are tired of their noise.
Put your Ipod on. and relax.
Take advantage of the closeness you share with one or the other and gently and lovingly speak with him or her.
